On the effect of the expressiveness of strategy representation languages in multiagent based simulations: an experiment with an evolutionary model of the iterated n-players prisoner’s dilemma

چکیده

RÉSUMÉ. Dans ce travail, nous présentons des résultats obtenus par plusieurs simulations multiagents du Dilemme du Prisonnier avec n joueurs, en utilisant deux différents langages pour exprimer les stratégies des agents: automate fini et automate adaptatif. Comme on peut exprimer des stratégies plus complexes en utilisant ce deuxième langage, nous considérons qu’une analyse comparative de la co-évolution des stratégies qui utilisent ce deux modèles pourrait servir comme un moyen d’analyse de l’effet du pouvoir expressif du langage de représentation de stratégies dans des résultats individuels et collectifs des agents. Ainsi, les résultants numériques des simulations ont été utilisées pour répondre à deux questions: (i) est-ce que l’habilité d’utiliser une stratégie plus complexe a comme effet un résultat différent pour la société? (ii) est-ce que cette habilité a-t-elle un effet sur les sustentabilité des résultats dans une société?
